Terms of Use
Agreement
These terms are between you and BizVizor LLC, a California company (“we”, “us”). They cover your use of the Crumbs app and this website. By creating an account or using Crumbs, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, don’t use Crumbs.
Who can use Crumbs
Crumbs is for adults 18 and over only. You confirm your age when you sign up. During the beta you sign up and sign in with your email address.
Your account
Keep your password secret and don’t share your account. You’re responsible for what happens under it. If you think someone else has used your account, reset your password and write to us at [email protected].
What Crumbs is, and isn’t
Crumbs is a private tracker for the people you’re dating. It shows patterns in what you log. A pattern describes your logs; it isn’t a conclusion about anyone, and Crumbs never claims to know what another person thinks, wants or will do.
Crumbs is a tracker, not an expert. It isn’t advice, and it isn’t medical, mental-health or relationship counselling. If you’re struggling, please talk to a qualified professional. You set each person’s status and intent; Crumbs only suggests, and your choice wins.
Acceptable use
Use Crumbs for yourself, lawfully. Don’t:
- use it to harass, stalk, threaten or harm anyone;
- store details about a person that you have no right to store, or that you got unlawfully;
- break the law or anyone’s rights;
- try to get into other people’s accounts or data, or disrupt or probe our systems;
- copy, reverse engineer or resell the app, or use it to build a competing service.
Your content
What you add to Crumbs stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to run Crumbs for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. Crumbs is meant to hold only details about people you choose to store, and you’re responsible for what you add about them. Add only what you’re comfortable storing. Nothing you log is shared with or shown to the people you track.
Plans, trial and subscriptions
Crumbs has a free plan and a paid plan.
- Monthly: $9.99 per month.
- Annual: $99.99 per year.
- Both start with a 7-day free trial.
Subscriptions are billed and managed by Apple through your Apple ID. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period (each month or each year) until you cancel it. To avoid being charged for the next period, cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends, in your Apple ID settings. If you cancel in time before the free trial ends, you won’t be charged. Deleting your Crumbs account does not cancel your subscription.
Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies; we can’t issue them. Prices can change; we’ll show the price in the app before you subscribe. Your use of the App Store is also covered by Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which applies between you and Apple.
Provided as is
We work to keep Crumbs running and accurate, but it is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We don’t promise it will always be available or error-free, or that patterns are right about anyone.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to Crumbs is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months or $100. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn’t allow us to limit.
Ending your account
You can stop using Crumbs and delete your account in the app at any time. Deletion is permanent. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the law, or that belongs to someone under 18. The parts of these terms that should survive, such as limits of liability and governing law, do.
Changes
We may update Crumbs and these terms. When we change the terms, we’ll post the new version here with a new effective date, and tell you in the app or by email if the change is significant. If you keep using Crumbs after a change takes effect, you accept it.
Governing law and venue
California law governs these terms, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Sacramento County, California, and you and we agree to those courts.
